I picked up this book at a time when I was very low. In the last couple of years, I lost a child and a best friend unexpectedly. Even as a Buddhist, I struggle with accepting the change that both these events brought. I still struggle today.
I found the book to be very helpful for me personally. I enjoyed practicing the meditations and doing the exercises. I found them very comforting. Does it contain a magic pill that will make everything in your life suddenly okay? Of course not. However, if you are looking for different ways to look at things and gain perhaps a new perspective on your life and the events that led up to you grabbing this book, then I would highly recommend it.
I give this book a very rare (for me) five stars.
